I got my start as a Recruiter for a top OC Metro staffing firm, placing candidates at companies like Disney, First American Title, Kaiser, Boeing, and more. I went on to earn degrees in Human Development and Educational Counseling from Azusa Pacific University and became a school counselor for 14 years while writing resumes on Craigslist, for friends and family, and through word of mouth as a side-hustle.

In 2014, I had my beautiful daughter, and knew I wanted to be both a full-time mom and have a fulfilling service-oriented career helping others, so I took the plunge and launched SoCalResumes. Since then, I’ve transformed resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and in many cases – the lives of thousands of Southern California jobseekers.

I’ll be the first to say that there is a ton of conflicting information (and some misinformation) about how to write a resume (or LinkedIn profile) …it’s time consuming and difficult to wrap your mind around it all.
